As I was reading the New Mexican today I stumbled upon some of the real and present effects of this little problem we are facing (quite obtusely) of Global Warming. It amazes me that just a mere 18 months ago, politicians, partisans and pundits were all speaking about this thing that "might" be happening. I am extremely concerned , are you?. So far the best response to the problem has been the development of " Green Consumerism"......really? Could this be our best effort at solving the problem?, more of more made out of less. Well as these real effects of population expansion and Global Warming continue to surface I will post them as I am convinced that many of us think of this as something that will begin effecting us later. I think it is now.

Well it sure is encouraging to see a little of the white stuff up in the hills after the blustery arrival of winter over the past weekend. While we had hoped that this would be enough for us to pull off our scheduled Telemark Demo Tour day at Ski Santa Fe on Dec. 8, it is not looking good (#$%@*&^#$@%). We hope that the miracle storm of the century happens tonight or tomorrow but fellow free healers, it is not looking good fro this week. Stay in touch with the shop at 984-8221 for further updates as to the possible rescheduling . We are snow dancing for turns. Wolf Creek just got dumped and according to Roy Hughes the skiing is pretty good based on a visit Monday Dec 3rd. We are still offering 15% off Skis. Boots and Binding's until the season opening.
